Papa Murphy’s pizza is famous for its easy dinner options – you just grab a take and bake pizza and bake it at home for the freshest, yummiest and hottest slice of pizza! (And you can also order baked pizzas, if you want it all ready to eat as soon as you get it in your hungry hands!)
But, for those of us who are Celiac or have a serious gluten allergy or intolerance, the question we need to answer is: Is Papa Murphy’s pizza gluten free? And if so, is it safe for even Celiacs to eat?
Papa Murphy DOES have gluten free pizza!
I’m happy to report that Papa Murphy’s has developed a gluten free pizza! This is not their regular pizza base of course, but is a special new offering of a gluten free pizza crust for their customers with gluten issues to enjoy. You’ll need to make sure to order the gluten free pizza base when placing your order.
As is often the case with fast food or pizza restaurants, you’ll need to be extra cautious if you’re Celiac. On the Papa Murphy website, it states that while the crust itself is certified gluten free, the surrounding areas of the kitchen where it’s prepared cannot be guaranteed to be gluten free. Those pizza kitchens are where the other, regular wheat-containing pizzas are made. So, cross contamination issues could definitely exist. Please be careful!
