Gluten Free Restaurants San Diego

Duck Foot Brewing Co. – This craft brewery has two locations with one in East Village and the other at Miramar. Currently, as per their website, only the Miramar location is open. This craft brewery, open since 2012 focuses on gluten free beer. The brewery’s owner has Celiac disease, but had a dream of opening a craft brewery. The owner found a way to make beer with a natural enzyme that removes the gluten from the beer. Testing shows that this enzyme reduces the gluten content in beer to undetectable amounts (0-5 ppm) and the FDA considers a food gluten-free if it falls below 20 ppm.

The kitchen they have at the East Village location is completely gluten free. Some of the items you can get from their menu are Brazillian Cheese Bread, Kale Quinoa Salad, BBQ Pork Sliders, Honey Glazed Pork Ribs, and Flourless Chocolate Cake. Call or check the website to see when this location is open again.

Cueva Bar CafĂ© – Located on 2123 Adams Ave, San Diego, this cafe offers dine in service, curbside pick up or no contact delivery to its customers.
